CCACC Do More 24 Fundraising

- Be the One to Change a Life

If healthcare is a basic need, why are there so many people living without it? United States is one of the only developed countries with an inadequate healthcare plan in place, leaving many people to fend for themselves. The Pan Asian Volunteer Health Clinic (PAVHC), operating under the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC), works to provide healthcare services to those who have difficulties accessing it. We hope to help more people live in good health and to change their lives.

We hope to use these kits to help more women prevent cervical cancer. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 12,845 new cases of cervical cancer were reported as of 2015, and 4,175 women died of cervical cancer in the United States. Cervical cancer can easily be prevented with screening tests and HPV vaccines. However, at PAVHC, despite the free screenings we provide, many of our patients cannot afford the $89 lab fee.

Our goal: $5,000 (equivalent to approx. 50 Pap Smear Kits)

Your support will help 50 women receive this life saving service. Join us in reducing the number of cervical cancer cases. Why not be the one to change a life?
