Celebrating 11 Years of Helping Seniors

“Serve with sincerity, lead with compassion, protect with neighborly-kindness, retire with leisure and enjoyment, and live life with endless joy” these are CCACC Adult Day Healthcare Center’s (ADHC) core values. For the past 11 years, ADHC has held onto its mission in serving seniors in the community. To celebrate 11 years of service, ADHC held its anniversary celebration on September 20 in the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center’s (CCACC) Art Gallery.

At the anniversary celebration, there wasn’t an empty seat as people filed in way before the start of the event. One of CCACC’s founders, Ned Li; ADHC Director, Steve Lin; and an ADHC senior, Ms. Zang each gave a short speech, sharing their appreciation and blessings for ADHC. Steve Lin and ADHC division heads also celebrated employees who had been working there for over 5 and 10 years, thanking them for their many years of service.

The climax of the celebration was the many exciting performances, including music and dance. The peak of the performances was the Swan Lake dance performed by ADHC seniors and employees as they graced the stage like little swans, winning the applause and cheers of the entire audience.
